i dont care if yall think its lame, but its actually fun, i feel kinda guilty too because my parents shell out all this money and i just run laps in the park or ski pow alone, but its actually fun to ski some groomers and moguls and pow with your parents, especially when your parents are good skiers too..

my family came out to salt lake last year and I took them to Alta pretty much no one in my family skis but they had a blast and my dad wouldnt shut up about how great it is to ski without 'snowboarder assholes' everywhere. It was pretty funny

i get like 30 days, 5 trips outwest, and like 7 days skiing out east in NC and west virginia. plus im gonna do alot of urban this year so thats even more skiing. its so ghey how my skiing time becomes a reoccuring topic whenever i post OMG OMG someone jibs and lives in Georgia, put your dick back in your pants...

my dad's cool to ski with. there was a time when i thought he was the best skiier in the world, until i got better than him and realized he was an rather good skiier. it's cool cause he ducks ropes with me and stuff, he's so cool. he said the cool trick when he was young was the 'tip drop', i get a kick out of that

 
actually alot of pro skiers come from places were the local hills are pieces of shit but they are so dedicated that when they get to a real mountain it becomes an addiction and they rip shit up. In the midwest mid atalantic we get 3 inches of heavy wet snow and its a powder day in the west you get 5 inches of fully snow and its icy.

 
Yeah I moved to Salt Lake last year though, but I did learn to ski in West virginia and I'm not good so neither is anyone else!!

he's awesome and has been to so many cool mountains all over.

I dont mind skiing with my dad...actually, skiing with my dad is kickass. my mom has knee issues, so she gets annoying and heads in early/doesn't ski hard/slows everything down. skiing with my brothers is awesome. I dont get to ski a lot with my two oldest brothers, so it's sweet when they come up. this winter, my whole family is going up to NH for a week...So dope!!!

i love skiing with my dad. he taught me how to do pretty much every trick. He pushed me to try my first 360 and he helps my actual skiing(outside that park).

my dad was a sick skier a whiles ago, but then he got old and his knee's got to him. as for my mom, well she broke her arm on a bunny hill.

wow alot of you guys just came across as major assholes, if it wern't for everyones parents suport you probably wouldent ski. I hate when i see parents dropping little kids off at the base. I'm not talking about kids who can shred but it's the parents who drop off the snow bladers in windpants and a sweatshirt who piss me off.

hey ldowney, i didn't say i'm an excellent skiier, but if i did say that it probably wouldn't be a lie...i've been skiing everything on the mountain since i was like 6 and i have a ton of experience with that, it's the park that i've gotten into lately so i'm not the best there is

 
both my parents arent bad

i usually take some days and just chill with them and take um on ski trees and stuff, not lame at all

-let people do what they want, ski how you want, make whoever you want your role model its your choice

-i love to ski, so should you, its fun, try it sometime

i dont like skiing with my parents. im always afraid they are going to get hurt or run into or something. last year i skied with my dad once and on our last run he fell on blue ice (damn east coast), dislocated his shoulder and was out of work for 3 months. hes an old feeble firefighter, he once had a wall fall on him and almost break his back, hes in rough shape.

my dad gets more ski day's than me and still teaches. He's old too. It's all good, i love skiing with my mom/dad. Great time, I mean shit i've skied with my parents every season of my life which equals 18 years. They'll go anywhere i want too and even if i have to wait its still worth it gotta love spending time with the old parents ya know?

 
its amazing to see my grandpa still out there he's almost 80. I would love to be able to ski forever

my dad on the other hand used to rip hella back in the day, we have so many dope pics of him. so he'll ski with me in the park and help me out it's awesome.

my dad taught me how to ski when i was knee high to a squirrel. i owe it to him to rock the slopes.....it's kinda sad though cuz in the last few years he's kinda slowed down and just likes to do groomers now. but he still rocks it out

There was nothing enjoyed more than skiing with my dad, and last tuesday he died in a car accident. So to all you little bastards who dont ski with your dad, I would because you will never know when you wont have the option anymore(most of your friends wont die for a while though, so ditch them and ski with parents)
