I saw a video a while back of someone skiing with their golden retriever, i believe it was a pro. if anyone has the link to the video im thinking of i would greatly appreciate it! thanks

ps. tried searchbarring but couldnt find it

I remember watching an edit of Eric Pollard skiing around with his dog. Such a cool video, I'll try to find it

saw a guy at powder mountain in Utah skiing with his dog. He had him on a leash and was taking him down easy groomers.

Ha, as you can see by my lengthy comment in the video (not that any of you care to read it), I used to take my dog skiing when he was younger. I can be really fun or a huge pain in the butt. Or, if they're a herding dog like mine, they can try to nip as you and end up cutting their paw open on your ski edge and bleeding all over you and having to carry them down the mountain in your arms. I don't think I've ever been so sore as I was after carrying my dog while skiing down the hill.

I've never thought about this but taking your dog skiing would probably be really enjoyable, especially if no one else you know is out on the mountain then having your dog there would be super chilled.

I always make sure to take my dog out for a tour a few times a year. Sadly, she ends up staying at home though due to me not wanting to put her in a position where she could die or get scared. This usually means that taking the dog out for a ski is mostly reserved for pre season mellow stuff. The dog loves it though!

If anyone else finds videos of skiing with dogs, post up for some karma. I've seen this one before where this big group of people touring and snow camping I think had a dog with them. That dog absolutely charged to.

dogs are good and bad. they are awesome, fun creatures and its great you can share yourr love of snow with them.

BUT, they are stupid naive creatures, and are naturally very curious. BAsically they can set of avis that a normal person wouldnt.

Also, you never, ever, ever put a beacon on a dog.

That might be my favorite skiing related video i've seen in a long time. Taking my dog up to hood sometime this week before meadows opens. Hopefully he stays close

my dog loves the snow but idk how she feels about actually going skiing. she is fine on the mellow stuff but hates it when it gets steep. shes got long luscious fur so she turns into one giant snowball. dogs hate getting snowballs between their toes too

running down steep runs trying to keep up is a lot of impact on their joints. could be why she doesn't like it. also, the snowballs problem too.

I ski with my dog a lot. I mostly snow skate with him sctually because it's a little slower so he can keep up.

That video made my day. I'm so happy now, I need to do this with my pup dog. Looks so fun and chill.
