Skiing with a hangover

Have had some pretty wild nights and getting up the next day for first lifts is such an honor. Not only are you reeling from the night shenanigans, you have the dreaded jacket sweats. The throbbing head. The exhaustion. But you also have that phresh air.

Some reckon it cures, others reckon its the worst thing on this earth.

whats the verdict and if you have a sweet hangover cure for skiing, slap it below please. It would be a public service

As I've gotten older, I can't ski hung over at all at least not before like 11. I'm spoiled because I can walk to pcmr from my house but still, if I wanna have a good ski day I keep it mellow for sure.

I'm a lifty so a bad hangover usually cuts my patience down to about zero....ski breaks are a definite live saver on those days

I find that if I'm going to have to deal with a gnarly hangover...skiing is a pretty great cure for it. Usually being outside / moving around makes me feel a lot better. Add in a nice flask, and a J and your good to go.

I don't mind skiing hungover - in fact sometimes I even enjoy it - but I'm usually not throwing down anything really heavy.

Not that I throw down anything heavy anyways.

Havent really ever skied hungover but over the summer i usually golf the morning after a night of drinking and that always makes me feel so much better so im sure it would work the same.

hungtitties. Chairlift is super shitty, get nauseated then usually dry heave up the whole lift. Ski half the run, hangover drifts away. Get on the chair hangover comes back, dry heave the whole chair. Ski half the run and hangover drifts away...It's a viscous cycle

Hate to sound like your mom but don't go so hard. Prioritize skiing and don't get piss drunk the night before. That's the cure.

I hear you on that! I can't drink like I used to anymore. Get terrible hangovers.

One night last winter, I got incredibly drunk on whiskey. My buddy shows up at my place to pick me up at 7am the next day. Let's just say it wasn't fun.

We're on the lift, and I look over and see My buddy eating a jalapeño granola bar, the smell and sight of that made me start dry heaving.

Best way to cure it, is to break a sweat, ski, and hydrate.

Definitely feel your pain bro, post chair bump swings before the first towet or two get me heaving

morning beers! get a ride to the mountain from your roommate! pick up more beer on the way!

It used to be my norm from like 20-23, then I realized how much better i ski without a hangover. And now, I just can't do it, I'm useless hungover.

Best hangover cure is anything active and outside. But a grilled cheese and a liter of water before bed is what saves me most days.
