Skiing VS Snowboarding

Some day, in the future, a giant dragon who has been imprisoned beneath the soil for untold millennia will awake, and will rise to the surface. He will summon his legions and a great battle will begin.
Maybe thats what it will take before kids realize just how pointless and stupid a "skiing vs snowboarding" thread is.

I kind of like being on of the only 1 out of like 10 skiers at my mountain. The other 95.5% is all snowboarders.

I don't think it matters which one is "cooler". As long as there are rivalries between skiing and snowboarding both sports will progress and evolve more and more.

I make sure to get out on a snowboard a few times a season at least. If I had one I'd probably bust it out a couple times a month or something.

But yeah I tried boarding for a couple years when I was like 12 and wanted to be cool, but I came back to the light. I think that skiing and snowboarding are way more similar than skiing is to rollerblading or snowboarding to other board sports. Snowboarding seems a lot easier to me though. But i've skied spots that I would never want to even think about on a snowboard and they seem tons sketchier for like big mountain. But apparently big spins and shit go down better on skis because skiers are killing it way harder than snowboarders in all the big comps this year.

Yeah, theyre both respectable sports, but skiing does have a lot more possibilities and variations.
