what i wana see in a ski game:
- choose from a huge number of pro skiers or make up your own and be able to customize everything from what color fur is on their jacket to what color their doorag is and wear chains/ headphones etc
- accurate real life parks from north america and even europe and new zeland. whilser, mammoth, mt snow etc
- career mode: choose t hall, pep, morrison or anyone else and start from the bottom as a kid hiking park all day and then work your way to the top with comps like x games
- session mode: just session and be able to take off your skis and hike back up or just a button that does it instantly, multiplayer sessions
- be able to build backcontry booters and session then with freinds for film for film shoots
- earn money and be able to buy whatever you want from cars to hoes
- smoke herb to regain health (not good idea before tested events), sign autographs for extra points and fight over your mountains turf
- beautiful graphics, much nicer than amped, with snowstorms, sunsets, rain etc
- ski real life big mountain lines with the chance of dying
- choose the big mountain path or the park rat path or a mix
- online play

yea stats are cool but i want it realistic...like the tricks gotta be super realistic. you cant go 20 feet in the air off a lil noll. and how much you cork something has to be controllable wiht analog stick

'i hope its like, you suck at the beginning, and you can only pull like threes and do basic rails, then keep progressing. i want a realistic game, cause if you could lauch 300 feet off a clif (downhill domination) or do a backflip off the ground it wouldnt be worth it and would just be as bad a jmmt.'

th biggest thing i hate about games otu now is that there is a grind button, in real life you ride onto the rail and you use your momentum/pop to get on and balance, you dont just go in the general direction of the rail and get sucked onto it...just a pet peeve people play games and think grinding is the easiest thing in the world...it should be HARD (to learn and to do difficult rails) like in real life
definately be liek GTA where there is a ton of freedom and you can choose not to do missions or comps but jsut chill and hike something of ski a nice BC line

they also should definately work switch and the fact that you have two feet into it (so you can nut rails flail, have really awkard falls etc)

all of these ideas sound great. Im not trying to be pessamistic (spelling) but I'll believe it when I see it. Now that I don't trust this post but there have been sooo many posts about a ski game. The truth is that most video game companies put out games in which the idea or concept of the game is based on what they percieve the sport to be like. Example, Tony Hawk. Everyone was stoked when the first game came out because it was pretty realistic but activision also relealized that the game had to be fun. as the games progresses they've become more and more unrealistic and the only way to win the game is to do incredibly unrealistic insane combos. kinda lame.
I really hope a skiing game does come out. it'll introduce our side of the sport to more people and that is always good for everyone in the industry. I just need to see some real hard evidence.

no i wanna see a ski video game like tony hawk's underground. where you can get off your skis, run around, meet people, talk to pros, they give you missions, you gotta complete objectives, make a promo vid, get sponsored, go to comps, get recognized, and ultimately be the best. it would be sooooooo sick. you could do urban jibs for your video, and for some goals, but do big mountain stuff for variety, for fun, for comps, you could have the xgames, us open, all that shit. it would be absolutely incredible.
