I was approached by someone at the SIA show in las vegas about a skiing video game. It was from a reputable video game comany...

They said that in 8 months there will be a skiing and snowboarding video game. If it sells well then there will be a skiing only game after that.

Now you can stop sending the petitions

i hope its like amped gameplay wise, with more skiiers and skis to choose.....and also THUG 1. style story mode so u can start at your local hill and work up to big comps like the xgames and such......also to unclick your bidingings and hike a feature

that sweet news!!!!!! i hope its like amped just sking too that would be sick.. and hopfully they could get some good pros to get involved with the game and get some publicity for it goin so more people will go out there and support the game

 
Hopefully it will have some elements of Grand Theft auto as well... for instance, you can go impale random snowboarders on your ski pole, and then you can take your ski off and ram it through someone's goggles, or maybe even land your d'spin on top of a group of people.

if it was like jmmt it would suck

the whole amped style gameplay would be fuckin sick

if its activision i would strongly advise using the same game engine as amped 2, just tweeking it to involve skiing, and making minor adjustments to the levels and challanges. That would be the sickest game by far.

I think the producers need to see what is actually being done on skis, with all the progression and stuff first, then start making the game.

...all the hype about a new game is tight, because im pretty sure we want a new skiing game more that little timmy wants to walk, but i want some hard proof that one is being built.. like an actual press release on the net or a site by ea games or somethin. because i really dont want all my hope to be crushed.

Everyone buy it. I don't even have xbox/ps2/gamecube but id still buy it as a birthday present for all my friends that do. there should be pimp ass graphics like in halo. and don't make it like any other game. Make it and original piece o' work. Lots of pros and profiles and shit.

I would also like to point out that their is a special forum for all things that arent ski related (video games being one of them). This forum is called non-ski gabber and i think any more video game threads should be posted there.

 
i hope its like, you suck at the beginning, and you can only pull like threes and do basic rails, then keep progressing. i want a realistic game, cause if you could lauch 300 feet off a clif (downhill domination) or do a backflip off the ground it wouldnt be worth it and would just be as bad a jmmt.
