There's so many good ideas being tossed around here. But what needs to happen is some organization. And I'm certainly all for it, so whenever a petition gets released I'll sign it. I think the career should start on a small mountain with just a park, and then move to the BC as you gain more attention with your park skills by winning comps and eventually entering the U.S. Open and the X-Games.

It would be cool if it was amped (the first one) with skis. That way its not too far fetched... like amped2, but still really realistic except with skis.

even if u dont have enough people to have a company make a ski game, u can still convince a company if there are big names like salamon k2 etc. backing up the idea

 
if they make a skiing video game they should use the trick/spin engine from ssx3 cuz its sweet. the one on mad trix sucks, u hit up and side and no matter what u do a misty or a rodeo.

creating ur rider is really important. have oakley back the game and u could use the hot plate a frames, puffy pants,and ghetto style doo rags ,hats out of the helmet, headphones, jerseys,etc. ohh yea and a bright oarnge simon dumont hunting hat

welp, we all know that 20,000 votes ain't going to cut it.. so, my idea is for everyone to just go fucking ballistic about it and make an online petition somewhere and tell friends, family, animals, strangers, niggers, jews, etc. to sign the petition.. thats a start

^There is one...search for the last 15 threads about this and you'll find it.

The more realistic it gets, the less people(non skiers that are not as stoked to have a skiing just for the sake of having one) would like it. THink about it, you start the game small, trying to clear tables, but coming up short no matter what you do, trying to spin, but exploding on the knuckle, and rails?? Realistic is great, but too much can suck. Amped 2 would be a perfect base to start from. It's easy to learn, looks amazing, and is slightly unrealistic, but fun. Only thing I'd change is the size of the jumps because overshooting them horribly doesn't affect you. How big you are able to go in that game rocks, but it would be so much cooler if you hit the transistions more often.

I'm just rambling now so I'll stop.

 
ur best bet would be to go to a company that already has a good engine, i dont think a company wold spend the money to make a completly new engine for a game like that.
