im making a trip to utah but i only have 3 days to ski, what resorts should i ski at? park city for atleast one day but what are the other 2 best resorts that are close???

i would tell you but if u are already "a park city" kid im not sure if its worth it to get another tourists at the good places

if ur hitting up utah dont bother with park city and ski some big mountains or bc instead. alta/snowbird for a day, solitude for a day are a must. snowbasin is a little bit of a drive but an awesome mountain. the canyons is ok but has good backcountry (did that last year and was a great trip). havent been to brighton but have heard good things. itll be good where ever u end up.

Stay in salt lake city along one of the hotels that give you bus rides up the canyon and go to brighton one day, and the bird and alta another. Unless you want to drive, but I think that the busses are the way to go.

go to brighton and alta. you'll get fun everything at brighton and a great mountain at alta. pc will be cool. i guess.

it really depends on what you want to ski. Right now we don't have very much snow, so i doubt you would want to come here to ski BC. PC is doing okay park wise, but nothing to brag about yet. Alta is dope for cruising around, but no park or anything like that. i don't recomend going to solitude or snowbasin either. And this is just my personal opinion, but i don't like brighton. hope that helped you out a bit.

Powder mountain is sick too or is that a hush hush local place cause when I went there three years ago it was better than the canyons and a few other places as far as snow goes. My favorite was either brighton or alta though

hey! im going to utah for 3 days also! (jan. 12-14)

sadly im only able to ski the canyons, but anything is better than the 55 degree weather here.

were staying in park city. im a stoked

i was there for three days late last year, and we went to park city, alta, and canyons

i had the most fun at alta and canyons except for canyons was packed, but had a lot of fun skiing up the 9990 lift

Park City has a pretty funpark right now with 5 jumps and a hip and various jib features. The big park is supposed to be done around the 12 of jan. That jump line is supposed to go 50 ft, 60 ft, 70 ft. should be fun.

dont ski park city. alta is a must as im sure u have already got that. also the canyons is pritty good (I no im going to get chewed out for that) but i think its legit. um brigton and solitude i guess are the good ones

yea go to alta/snowbird for BC only if there is some fresh if there isnt then dont bother otherwise id go to PC if u wanna ski park n get star strok

Snowbird and Solitude for sure, never been to brighton but it sounds sick. Definately go to Park city if you want to ride a little park, although its a bit intimidating when i was there. None of the other mountains seemed to have a decent park.

i was just out there, id definetly say alta and snowbird, i went to snowbasin which was nice, and i went to the canyons, id say i liked alta and bird better than the other two but its really ur opinion, depends on what u like to ski

Nope, west coast is where its at. But sometimes I get mad and take it out on NS members for some reason, dosen't happen that often cause most west coast skiers are pretty chill.

brighton is dope, but watch out for rocks on cliffs. just tore a bunch of shit in my ankle dropping a cliff and landing on a rock

Brighton kicks ass. But over on milly I hit a lil booter and landed right on top of a rock and messed up my friends skis...oops.

alright. every skier should go to alta at least once. its glorious. i wouldnt mess with park city just because its more crowded and the terrain isnt as varied at other mountains. if you want to ski park just go to snowboird and you get a decent park along with a great mountain. ill be at the canyons next weekend. i would definatily like to hit up brighton soon and maybe solitude. but definately go in little cottonwood canyon

i know everyone thinks you going to get sick pow and bc if you go to alta

but it doesnt last long because it gets skied so fast

i would do a alta mourning and then go to brighton or back to parkcity

how is snowbasin and powder mountain? it seems like they would be alot less crowded. hows the skiing? difficult? easy? how are the parks?
