Skiing the whole weekend

I live in Durham, 2 hours from Waterville. That's the closest place for us to go that's still a legit place. We definitely want to try to get up there for both days, but 8 hours of driving a weekend is a lot of driving. There aren't any ski hostels near there that I know of. I assume most places to stay are expensive, and we're in high school so we don't have much money to burn. Sleeping in the car is always an option, but we don't want to do that every weekend. I know this is probably going to go nowhere, but does anyone have experience with this or have an ideas?

Stay in a hotel/motel, just find one thats $59.95 or however much a single room is, then just sneak everyone else in, using that money for a hotel will save on gas, a lot. and get a season pass if you are going to actually do that. cause it will be well worth it when you still have money left at the end of the season.

if your in high school, then most likely you are not 18 and cant stay in a hotel anyway. 2 hours isn't even very far.

best bet, talk to every kid that skis there, make friends, then be lucky enough to meet one with a crib up there. chill at his/her house

most little motels are quite lenient on that. and if theyre not you can have a parent of the kid renting to call and arrange it (only works with little local motels)
