Skiing The Midwest

I ski in a ghetto called raging buffalo, right in my hometown of Algonquin,Illinois.

It's a shitty little hill, but it's our shitty little hill and we love it all the same.

All the skiers from the midwest, where do you ski and what street spots are around?

REP THE MIDWEST!

home mountain is alpine valley. pretty sick there. although tyrol/cascade/ granite a few hours north are better

can go wrong with the mighty buck hill, airbag and big jumps with a nice big rivet to land in every time.

buck hill first airbag day. or, trollhaugen when mike hornbeck and ahmet dadli come there and make a sexy park for them.

I've skied four lakes my whole life but this year keystone is my home mountain and I got to say, I miss the tow rope hot laps

i think that would be too far away for our friends down south in iowa, we gotta do something in the metro area.

if you want this to actually happen join my cult so we can get this organized.

Buck Hill looks pretty solid for MN I meet my business partner in the twin cities at the Quick Trip on country rd 46 right next to it when I have to give him something in person.

Hyland Hills whutuppppp 175 feet of vertical. For real though we should actually have a NS meetup at afton or a similar place!

MothaDuck keith, he's possibly the worst ski hill owner ever, especially considering that he doesnt even like park, while his hill is only park, he might be selling it though. Chaz ortiz/johnny huege could buy it

I know its a small hill but the park is actually really fun, they switch it up a lot too and actually make some pretty fun features

i am dead fucking serious guys i just made a thread posting the rules and everything, ill try to organize all of it.

If we want to do a meetup in the metro area then Hylands is pretty much smack dab in the middle. Just a thought though, I would be down with driving an hour to shred with some fellow NSers

Thunder Bay Ontario, home hill is Loch Lomond in Canada, and occasionally ride at Baldy in Canada, and at Lutsen and Spirit in Minnesota.

Spirit is pretty awesome.

grew up in lake zurich, illinois!

i used to ride raging buffalo, wilmot, alpine and the occasional trips to chestnut mtn and granite peak!

I'm from the Joliet, IL area. Chestnut, Tyrol, Granite Peak are where I ride most. A meetup at Granite would probably work best. Right in the middle of the midwest with the best parks in the midwest.

Perfect North Slopes...tiny little hill in Indiana. Only claim to fame is Nick Goepper learn to ski here so it must be good right?

I live in Blaine MN so i ski trollhaugen, wild mountain and afton sometimes. I have a season pass to troll though and will be hitting it up this weekend! hope to see some of you guys there!

Raging buffalo is the worst -40 dollar lift tickets

-Iciest hill I have ever skied on

- Ropes are shit compared to Four Lakes

you might have more features than Four Lakes does but ill ride the Lakes any day over the Buff
