Skiing Switch

So I have been teaching my self to ski switch and I can go pretty fast while doing so but I just cant seem to link my turns very well.. any suggestions?

when you link your turns skiing switch its just switching the stagger of your stance and looking over a different shoulder

dub post my bad but ill be more clear, when turning left your gonna have your left behind you nd your right foot infront your gonna look over your left shoulder and twist your hips. than for turning right its basicly the same you really have to practice it to get the hang of it and it is really all in your hips

^the truth. staggered skis makes all the difference. Also when starting, drop the poles by the lift and do a couple of runs without the push sticks. You obviously don't pole plant when carving switch, so they only get in your way.

Begin on moderate slope and if you get scared, revert out. also not good on a crowded run. You'll get it and its an amazing feeling, almost like learning to carve all over again for me!

what do mean by staggered skis (english isnt my first language) ?I just look over the other shoulder so i look over the hillside shoulder and then i shift my outside ski(hillside) forward(in the direction you're going). Then its pretty much the carving/stepping move from regular skiing...

you got it. Just as you would never carve regular with tips right beside eachother, you won't be able to carve switch that way either. Put downhill ski anywhere from a few inches to a foot in front of the uphill ski and the motion will be easier.
