Skiing switch on -2 vs. center mounted

Anyone notice a difference in the two? Ive been skiing center mounted the past few years. Just bought a pair of chronics and they recommend mounting at -2 cause of the flex pattern. I love skiing switch just as much as normal so I just wanna make sure the overall feel isnt completely different.

thanks bros

Sounds like you've got your switch skiing on-lock. If you feel any difference it will most likely because it is a different ski, and not the mounting point

not sure whats up with the chronics and whether its -2 from dead center, or from the recommended point. If its -2 from the recommended point, there would be a huge difference I would think right?

yeah, i think the recommend line is -5cm or so from dead center on the chronics. if they did -2 from the recommend line you would be back to -7. which you will notice if your used to riding center. I ride my chronics at -2 from dead center and they ride fine switch.

correct me if im wrong but i just bought chronics and i thought the reccommended line was -2 or -2.5 from center.....not 5

I just checked lines site. 181 is 6.2cm and the 176 is 6.cm back. When you say 2 or 2.5 are you sure you are not thinking in INCHES?

yea i have 182's and they are 6.2 cm back, which is alot. i would never mount there. way too far back. i mounted them center, and i would only mount center. i personally dont see what something like -1 does, its not gonna give you any better all mountain capability than center, and that being said, its not gonna have much difference in swing weight etc, but it will have more effect in park

My brother's invaders skied better switch than my PEs (-2 from "core center"[-5 from true?]) or my Silencers (-2 from true center)
