Skiing Survey for senior thesis ++Karma

thanks for the awesome input!

I knoww ability is not measured by spins. (I am one of the biggest advocates for this) They way I chose to measure it reflected pure trick ability rather than style (even though I care a whole lot more about style). Its just easier to measure this way.

and yes this business is completely hypothetical. (though it could be a pretty cool idea!)

What I would be doing is offering a couple of different services. PRO, MID, and AM level packages.

The PRO package would apply to sponsored athletes looking for an edit (kind similar to Dale talkington Spring edit i guess). I like the idea of a multiday film session (thanks!). More good footage = better edit.

MID and AM would be lower priced. Less footage to be captured / shorter edit but still same production quality.

Id love to hear more feedback on this! Suggestions / anything will help!

++K to everyone!

I meant more that tricks in general =/= level of skier. I don't even really ski park, but I love the idea of having someone who knows what they're doing make an edit for me. Because it isn't as easy to get someone to go out to the gnarly lines and big cliffs to film, as it is in the park.

It sounds like a simple business plan, with low expenses. I assume you already have the gear and software for filming/editing and of course season passes.

I think you could easily make a good amount of money on it, if the filming and editing can live up to the expectations. I would definitely pay to get some filming done with you guys! I really hope your project goes well :)

even though you've probably already done this you should have it so that the people can help in the editing process too like picking songs etc
