from snowboarding... and snowboarding stole its style from surfing.... and surfing stole its style from people riding waves in canoes.... And canoes are from Indians... So basically skiing stole its style from Indians. The point im getting it is I always see posts 'we owe all our style and tricks to snowboarding'. I just think thats a pretty dumb way of looking at it. Everytime a new sport or a new generation of people play a sport they improve it or make it unique. You just can't really compare apples and oranges. Snowboarders and skiers do everything different from a backflip to a 180 its done different therefore its different and unique.

actually freestyle snowboarder have a style of theyr own cause you dont see many kids busting 50 foot jumps doing corks and shit on a skateboard so yea, snowboardingdevelopped it's own style cause the only people getting air at that time were skiers and they were doing pwencilled out shit. then after ward skiing saw what snowboarder were doign and tought it would be great to do somthing similar on skis yo

If you watch a video of aggresive inline you will see that, that is where almost all the inspiriations for spins, and flips come from. The stance is the most similar. So obviously that is, not snowbitching . Oh, whoops, I mean snowboarding.

we were doing backs and 3's befor snowboarding was invented, so we didnt steal anything, all we have done is progressed from the old school backs and strait up helis
