So we all have our own gear and style when we’re skiing, but trends exist, and popular skiers have a lot of influence due to instagram these days, so stereotypes exist. What common stereotypes have you seen in skiing, be it good, bad, or strange?
 
Thug-life riders westside till we die xxxxl 2010 ghetto gangsta style.

New Wave Adidas and Thriftshop complete with over the top rockered skis.

Helly-Hansen Arcteryx mixing yobbos with those gay as Smith bike helmets with Oakley Flight Decs.

Kids with All Saga and Faction CT 1.0s or Line TWs

Guys who wear RuRoc helmets and Burton Gear riding Line Chronics mounted -3cm back

Guys and girls who session XL jumplines from a sled with normal looking jackets and pants because if they wear anything else their coaches will smack them.

Guys with Touring gear mounted to Soul 7s and WTR boots who fall on the download ramp of a chairlift consistently.
 
50 year old men in Michigan skiing tele in bounds and bragging about how they don't need "cheater bindings"
 
People who have dedicated their whole life to skiing but aren't good enough to go pro so they just shit on anyone that is even slightly different from them.
 
People who think riding a lift with the bar up makes your dick bigger

Kids with Columbia/HH/North Face outer wear on line skis (TW pros)

The crusty guy who smokes cigarettes when riding the lift as a single

Inb4 there's a skiing fashion contest. There's a flat rail, down rail rail, jump and then 2 berms.

Score on overall look, functionality, distinctive style, etc. This course is the run way.

lol did some insta stalking, found the kid. I was wrong in assuming the vishnus were backmounted and i apologize to the owner. they appear to be in the center.

Anonymous internet skier who judges other skiers based on what they are wearing and decides they are sooo different from themselves resulting in a disliking the other skier when in reality you couldn't be more alike and would probably be great friends had you not become upset by the clothes they decided to wear that day.
