Skiing+science fair= I need help

Hey guys so im looking for a science fair expierement that has to do with skiing or biking. im in 7th grade but the easier the bettter. All ideas help thanks

always cool to see the new generations of ns!maybe these ideas will help:

-weather patterns and snowfall, involving la nina

-somthing on the speed of sound, i have always noticed that you always see skiers land tricks before the sound reaches you

-the physics of jumps and rails

Do a project on how Waxed skis are better than unwaxed skis. You could get pretty sciency with it with cool pictures (bring in your skis one waxed one unwaxed for visual differences). Not to mention theres tons of info out there

you could do something about how much force it takes the ski to slide on different surfaces of snow (powder, groomed, slush etc) my friend and I did one on this back in middle school and got a good grade.
