Skiing park without twin tips

I would consider you a rehtard. You fell for those genius marketing ploys that you need tail tipped skis for 100% switch skiing. You rehtards never figured out that you only need a standard directional ski mounted backwards.

Oh. On tail tipped skis, would skiing switch mean skiing forward and skiing switch means riding regular?
 
i don't think I can center them because they arent perfectly flat surface different indents and stuff that might prevent it they are these skis

Yeah this is quite true. Like a lot of people said, they are essential if you want to land switch without potentially injuring yourself. Also, having twin tips is nice because they are probably going to be lighter than your skis and if you get them center mounted, it will be much easier for you to balance on rails. I think you can hit boxes just fine with the skis you have now but again, it will get tricky when you want to advance to rails. I know how you feel though. Last season I was skiing on Volkl Tierras and I get into park in Feb. I was lucky to get twin tips but you do feel out of place. I think if you have the money, it would be a wise investment if you are serious about learning and progressing in the park.
 
I see. Well then if you are happy with them, I would say use them this season and don't worry about what other people think. Then if you feel like they are limiting what you can do, get twin tips for the following season. When it comes down to it, Its really up to you to make that call. But good luck to ya and have fun :) That's key.
 
I duno I guess I shouldn't feel out of place if I can still be better than some of the guys there with twins even though im not even that good
 
i didn't read anything in this thread, but i will just ask you: would you buy a snowboard that didn't have a turned up tail? so why would you skis? skis without a turned up tail shouldn't even exist ('cept for race specific skis of course) in this day and age.
