Skiing one pole?

i skied with only one pole on dirtbag day, just to be ridiculous. the only benifits i saw were help pushing yourself along flats, better stability in the lift line, and... that was it. it was strangely fun though- got some weird looks.

when i sprained my wrist i used one pole, but that was stupid so i sucked it up and used both.

theres this old dude at my hill i see him out there all the time, anyways he skis no poles for the most part (this is an old guy not some kid on twins) except he carries 1 telescopic pole with him that he uses to get around down by the lifts and to help him get on the lift. this thing is pretty cool you hit a button and it extends, then you can collapse it into the handle and just have a handle in your hand or put it in your pocket or something. not a bad little idea i thought

there's this snowboarder at my home mtn who wears a cowboy hat, all black gaper suit, sunglasses, and rides with one pole. it's hillarious

How about mini poles. You can chop your poles so they don't get in the way while spinning a big 3 and their there to help you push forward.

I do it whenever I break a pole, which isn't often, but still happens. But I just do not want to be a no pole skier, because people might think I actually ski with no poles on purpose. And everyone knows what other people think of you is the most important thing about skiing.

one pole would be weird i broke a pole yesterday and just throw away both my poles because it was better just to ride poleless

if you go one polin at night you can make yourself look really good for the ladies if you figure out how to use the lights and shadows right.
