Skiing off the roof

So I think skiing off my roof would be interesting, and some good march break entertaingment as well as good footage. sot liek Id being doing any real cool tricks ro getting tons of air but hey its a step in the right direction. anyone tried it? any advice?
 
We were skiing off of roofs and shacks in Chile a few years back, just make sure it has a decent landing, 10-15ft to flat kinda sucks, even if you have 3+ feet of fresh.

One of the roofs you could ski onto and launch off it like a kicker, it was pretty sweet, it's just too bad the metal roof raped my skis.
 
I use to use those snow skate things off my shed, it was a good 6 feet, which without bindings or anything was kindoff chalenging, I was going to build a decent drop with a kicker this year, with a rolling off part of my roof, down to a picnic table with plywood connected to the railings ontop of my deck, then a small kick off the deck, it would be something like 8 feet, which isnt huge, but would have been fun, but i didnt get as much snow as i wanted.
 
thats a pretty intricate plan, real bummer you didnt get to do it, you couldnt have jsut used snow form your entire neighbourhood?
 
what kind of a question is that anyway? make a little snowbank landing, climb onto your roof, and point your planks downwards. works everytime i swear.
 
there is a fort by my house which has a 15 ft overhang. we got some rad footy off it. just make sure you have a very big, fluffy, cusiony sort of landing cuz if not your kill your legs, butthole and spine. i did a switch 1 off though and hit my face on my knee and it hurt real bad.

i was planning on droppin the roof of this church(its baptist, dont worry) also near my house the next time we got snow but that has yet to happen cuz spring is here to stay me-thinks
 
AHAHAHAHAHAHHA its baptist AHAHA I think that might work better if it was united, nothign against either of them though
 
funny you should say that.

about no more than 100 feet across the street is united church. no joke. the setup and whole legistics of that one working though is tough toenails
 
maybe I could have, but the problem is, Im not that good, havent had the oppurtunity to hit and drops even that big, so I wanted a lot of snow for when I crash.
 
haha drunk enough I might need a shot or two of courage in a bottle before I hit it. yeah it might get a bit boring so we use a few guys and theres constantly people going and it ends up alright edited I guess... Ill probably end up zero spinning, mostly because Ive neevr landed a three. it would be big enough, but I dont have enough balls... yet
