Not sure If this has been done yet (not that i've seen) or if we know what NFTs are but It would be dope if someone released skiing nfts. Could be anything from just a picture drawn of someone skiing or the actual videos of people doing tricks. Not sure how people feel about them on here as a whole but I think it would be a dope Idea. Very many possibilities and honestly it's still pretty early in the grand scheme of things IF there here to stay. Fuck no, NFTs are a scam for dumbasses and a huge waste of electricity.

This is why I can totally see them invading skiing in the next few years to rip off wealthy touring crypto bros who ride DPS

A lot of it is a scam, but the idea of NFT is great and will be around for a long time. As an example, one of the most important things when buying expensive art is 'provenance' which is basically a bullshit fancy way of saying ownership history.

I guarantee a company will come around and use blockchain to track art ownership at scale. Sotheby's should be on this hard but I don't really know about their tech competency.
 
NFT's may be one of the stupidest things on the planet, second only to those who buy NFT's. It's literally the new MLM/Pyramid Scheme for people who didn't graduate highschool.

The only smart ones in the whole thing are the ones convincing you suckers to spend thousands of dollars on a hash.

Reddit users seem more inclined to NFTs than normal people.

Someone could make some skiing NFTs and unload them onto r/skiing and make bank (right?).
 
Wow, NFT hate is strong here. I love NFTs (even though 90 projects will die), lots of good projects with real utility.I think NFTs, crypto, or web3 will only go up in terms of adoption not the other way around, so it's up to you when you are ready for them. As always, NFA DYOR.

PS: would love to see a skiing company go all in with NFTs. I imagine J-Skis being early to this...would ape in 10/10
