seriously though that would be SICK and give a chance to athletes who are just as cutting edge on rails and urban as those who are throwing triples
 
thank you, i was waiting for this to be posted. overseas trips to hit urban is nothing new, for skiing it might be, but it is not a new thing in general
 
Dan Brisse will win for the same reason Simon won with the double frontflip. Punter Gnar value, not hating on Brisse though I really enjoy his segments.

Skiing will have it next year there just waiting to see if its worth there time and money to do this and if Joe Bloggs will want to watch it. If it flops then theres not much point.
 
Kinda like Joss except its for snowboarding/more about jibs/an x games tourny/ no massive features built for it...actually come to think of it its nothing like JOSS! Skiing very much does need this.
 
did anyone else notice some of the places had been in ski movies already, just one guys view, ohh and that would be way sicker in the ski part of x-games because it would be more than just 50-50's
 
this is sick, but bound to end badly. There is such a diverse group of riders that will all have very different entries. It's just too subjective, look at all the negative feedback over the winners of JOSS over the years. This is the X GAMES, people/companies take it really seriously.

Just my .02, definitely looking forward to all entries though and hope that I'm wrong and it evolves into a REAL skiing event, haha.

Does anybody know the rules for this? are the x games in aspen every year? does the entire entry need to be filmed in aspen? that might make things kind of stale, especially if this becomes an annual thing.
