So, I like Wachusett, it's close, but what other mountains are there around here? I'm new to the area and what to go somewhere close (1-2 hour drive). Anyone?

in mass you have blue hills and nashoba valley, not sure if either have a park and then in new hampshire you have lots of good places like loon, waterville, sunapee, pats peak, crotched. hope this helps

yea rails are pretty fun it's like 10mins from me, but they'll get mad rust on your skis.

rumor is they'll be getting a flat-down box, flat box, and a rainbow, maybe

yo guys, you've been a lot of help, I had no idea how close the mountains were in NH. They look bad ass too. If there are any more you all recommend, please reply!!!!

wawa is pretty good if you like skiing park and dont mind lines, but if your looking for groomers and trail riding type stuff hit up NH or VT. But NH is prob closer for you.

hey dude i'm in worcester for my first year in college and it isn't bad. I've been ridin wawa on weekdays and hittin up big mts on wednesday and the weekends. Southern VT and NH aren't a bad drive. Okemo was only a 2 hr 15 min drive and strattons pretty close

WA park jea jea

never knew ski ward had rails!! thats crazy. i never realized it was even a mountain really.

LOON,SNOW are good 2 hour drives from worcester

yo so i'm to worcester area cause of school. Anyone know a shop that could mount up a pair of skis with FKS? I'd need to bum a ride off a friend so closest legit shop would be best. If i had a car I'd just drive home and get it done for free, but sadly I don't

got mine done at ski market in shrewsbury, right over quinsig bridge.

I went to Strand's first but they only mount used apparently. anyway, make sure you talk to an actual tech and let him know exactly where you want them mounted, call in ahead of time to make sure the tech is in. they messed up my mount a couple years ago casue some lady took my info down, but i went this year and spoke right to the guy, he was awesome and remeasured true center for me and everything. To add to it, he ran it up as a tune-up/binding check, which is $20, instead of the $50 mount to save me $30 bucks, just said "hows 20 sound," even though when i first came there and asked he said $50. LAST thing i expected from a chain

mounted FKS, not sure if i made that clear, had them on scratch fs on which they barely fit, guy still did them

not too surprising ken jones used to be friendly for me all the time. Thanks yo, i'll look into that

I normally make the drive out to nashoba valley once or twice a week after school. It's a pretty fun mountain for it's size. The park will normally have two jumps, 4 or 5 rails, and then a big plastic pipe or wall ride near the bottom. Everyone there is really chill though, except for one or two of the lift guys. The park crew is all snowboarders and most of the people in it are too, but I know all of them and they're wicked nice.
