The sand dunes. Other than that be ready for a drive. Tahoe or mammoth.

the coastal mountains don't and will never get more than an inch or two of snow. tahoe is close( 4-5 housrs), mammoth is far(5-6 hours). However bear vallyey is chill and is only about 3 hours away, same with diamond peak

closest ski areas are dodge ridge and bear, but tahoe isn't much further.

6 hours to tahoe. that sucks for you man. I used to live there too, and lets just say I didn't ski for a few years.
