Skiing near LA

Mt High and Baldy are the closest.

Summit and Big Bear are a little further. Depends what part of LA area you live in as well...
 
There is no way it only take 1.5 hours to get from LAX to Mountain High. No way in hell.

Nowhere around LA is worth skiing at. Go surf, but in LA County please. Ventura is cold and full of sharks.
 
I beg to differ man... I have had some pretty sweet times at Baldy when the snow is good. Bear aint half bad either... High is... meh. not that gnarly, but they have some good park stuff. and the night setup is sweet as hell. Same with Summit. Not that gnarly, but good park shit.

 
ya well id be movin from the east coast, so any of those mountains would be better than most of the shit we have here.... mt high doesnt look to bad, looks like they got a good park from the pics
 
Yeah, they have some pretty cool park.

The main problem with Socal resorts is the lack of snow they are getting these days. I'm hoping for a good year though... last season was so horrible.
 
if you ever need someone to ride with hit me up i will mostly ride at mt high mon and wed but i go to bear every couple weeks
 
went to mt high today not bad for opening weekend had about 10 jibs and i shit load of people but still fun. i went to sierra summit on friday and that was a joke.
