Skiing near Burlington

I'm gonna be at school up there, and, as I'm bored and starting to the kindle the stoke for ski season, am wondering what the best options are. I know Sugarbush and Mad River, but like how are the trees at the Middlebury Snow Bowl?

I looked at Middlebury when I picked my college, I think the snow bowl is like 1,200 vertical, not super big. But apparently the lake in the middle's a cool spot, kids ski down to it and chill

Depending on your school I highly suggest Stowe for park and all mountain. Sugarbush is an amazing mountain with great trees and a dope park depending on the features you are looking for. Another mountain to keep in mind is smugglers notch, when the snow is good only Jay will beat out smuggs trees.

yeah, stowe is super close to burlington, you can get there in like a half hour if you drive fast enough

If youre looking for trees go to mad river. Its a little further than stowe or smuggs but has the best terrain on the east in my opinion

Stowe, MRG, Smuggs, Bush, so many options so take advantage of the college-priced passes.

If you're coming from B-Town its an hour to Stowe resort. It's about a half hour drive on the 89 to Waterbury (the exit to Stowe) and than from there it is about a 20-30 minute drive to the mountain. This being said the drive is definitely worth it.
