Skiing Mt. Hood Late June through mid-July. Need camping spots...

Like the title says, I'm gonna be out skiing Mt. Hood from late June to around Mid-july.

Are there any dope camping spots that about 3 other people and I should be aware of?

Can we camp anywhere so long as we don't fuck up the area or do we have to have a designated camping spot?

We've also considered just camping in a wooded area right outside Govy.

I'd appreciate all the help I can get.

Check out mt hood village. It's a campsite just a tid bit farther than windells so like 30 min from slope n it's only like 10$ a night for camping there plus u get hot tub some nice other stuff like electricity n showers n shit. Fun place for pretty cheap.

Not sure about camping spots but ill be there same time as you! We'll have to link up at some point

This guy is on the right track, but it's pretty easy to just walk in there and shower, play ping pong, hot tub, etc. for free.

$10/night adds up. It's better to just save that for gas/liquor and to bum it closer to the hill in the govy area.

Air Strip right near Trillium lake. Snow Bunny right before the turn off for 35. Any place along the old Timberline road.

andy parry speaks the truth. this is where you want to stay

air strip for sure. I had been previously warned about some sketchiness but everything was super layed back and chill. plus there is a truck stop a min drive away so no pooping in the woods.

No. That's cheating and you can't get properly rowdy in a designated campsite. Although it is a nice place to chill on a day with shit weather.

Road 32.

Haven't tried it too, but have some plans as you do. Hope you'll update us with your experience and probably could get some tips from you. :)
