Skiing Mixed Drinks

What is your go to? Do you mix it in your flask and smuggle on the lift or do you hit up the bar at the lodge?

I'm a strict chairlift beer kind of guy myself, but if you like some liquor to wet you whistle then by all means let the liquor call the shots

Beer is always delicious on the chair. But if I’m going to try a trick that I know I have 0% chance of landing the first 3 tries, out comes the flask. ?

Whenever I see [tag=182018]@DIRTYBUBBLE[/tag] in my thread alerts, I get stoked and this is why. ??

Crumpled up water bottle that’s half filled with bottom shelf vodka in your pocket.

Live life dangerously, live life extraordinarily

The worst crash I had this year was trying a 270 on after a drink, you’re absolutely right

rail skiing drunk is fucking terrifying

obvious go to is pocket beers. On spring days you break out the claws or twisted teas, and on a real sender of day- you get a cheeky pint bourbon

Ewww. Fuck twisted teas. That sugar filled horseshit drink. Maybe if you just have one or teo on the groomers.

I bought some on st pattys day at mt snow a decade ago. We were hot lappimg oretty hard all day. I figured sunshine and spring, it seemed perfect nah. It wasnt even that hot. But physical activity, sun, and that shit. Ended up throwing up once at some point.

That said this was probably 11 years ago so no idea what other factors were involved. Maybe cause chugging them? Idk. Twisted teas are kinda gnar though. I'd rather feel more buzz less sickness.

oh no you're right they're disgusting and sickeningly sweet, but its more for the vibe and because you can chug them via the lack of carbonation

usually carry a flask with fireball and 2 beers in my backpack. day starts with a heafty swig of fireball to get the muscles loose. Usually by mid day is beer time unless its a good day when first beer is before 11am. Then we are feelin superfly after that

I've always been a fan of the pocket beers, but my real question is, how many beers are you guys willing to pocket for future lift rides? Already at 3 you start to get weighed down, but you also want to avoid going inside for a restock.

Stash them beers in the woods! Only gotta ride one lap with your pockets full and the snow keeps them nice and chilly.

I usually go 4, give one to the lift and drink 3

Sometimes i like to bring some spiced rum in a flask just for the juxtaposition of Snow and Beach vibes. But usually bud lights buried beneath the snow off the side of a trail..

does anyone know any mixed drinks that wont fukk up my Camelback? lol

pretty much as many as I can pack in my jacket, which is like tops 6. Gives you motivation to drink a couple on the first lift rides and if you meet some homies on the lift you have more than enough to share.

Oh absolutely. Whats the point if you're not sharing?

My old jacket started to permanently smell like stale beer because of opening cans I fell on in the previous run lol. I'll have to start stashing in the woods.

Whatever [tag=182018]@DIRTYBUBBLE[/tag] passes me on the lift. (I tend not to ask cuz I know I don't really wana know how cheep the alc is today)

I've heard some stories of rotten funky camelbacks from the Army. I think as long as you wash it out like as soon as you get home you should be ok. I've had gatorade in mine. But it sucks when the hose freezes.

I've done the vodka in a waterbottle thing a few times.

The freaking hose does freeze! I always forget about that. Would alcohol stop that from happening you think??

When I had the hose freeze it was while I had just the gatorade or the water in it. Ive never taken a camelback with me skiing nor put alcoholic beverages inside. I would think with alcohol it wouldn't freeze.

Fireball. Put it in a flask and you've got something to keep you warm and happy on the lifts.

Gin and Tonic. Great midday drink at the bar. Light yet strong confidence boostin juice

Hamms. If money is tight you can get a meal and get drunk at the same time post hill.

Category 5 Hurricane. Best hotub malt liquor out there
