ice or powder, who cares? It's still skiing.

poles or no-poles, who cares? Your having fun skiing

rails or jumps, who cares? You still have those 2 boards on your feet.

urban or alaska, who cares? you do what you can with what you have.

Baggy or tight, who cares? Does the way you dress affect the way you ski???

cork 5 bluntor hexo flip, who cares? Both tricks names would sound stupid to any non-skier.

Now go out and ski, if you cant go build a platform at you local ice rink and try some oldschool ballet tricks and make them newschool.
 
nah dude skiing sucks, you didn't get the memo? we just had a thoughtful, insightful, intellectual debate in a NSG thread, adn concluded that it isnt fun.
 
for some reason this thread made me think of this...what if you put otter pops in your coat pocket while you skied? they would freeze as you skied, and then you could eat them at lunch! it would have to be cold enough.
 
great thread!  just got back from breck this afternoon. came home with a purple bruse about the size of two fists on my hip and one on my leg and still had a fuckin bomb weekend!  i love skiing!!

yeah skiing is mad fun, i love it, i ski as much as i can but I have to disagree with you that skiing on anything is sickcause when I know that I wil be hitting little to no jumps this year it makes me feel like fuckingcrap and it sucks cause I love to hit jumps and I AM FUCKING PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW . When you experience something as sick as hitting a jump you wanna do it again
 
word, this definitely brings me back to where I should be. Skiing is skiing, the season's coming back and snow is coming soon! I'm pumped.
 
This is what NS needs to realize. It's the truth. If I see skiing, I dig it. Regardless of who/what/where. Respects.
