ive really been noticing how much more skiing (movies) are goin to backcountry booters and urban rails, and that seems like all of it, although this shit is dope, what happened to a set of fat perfect park booters, huge boostin in the pipe, and sick rails... in the park? id hate to see this park of newschoolin go down the drain

What are you talking about. Urban Rails and park go hand in hand, and BC booters are there just as mush as the Park Hits. You are kinda making no sense at all...You are saying that park is dying out, and moving to back country but then saying there is too much urban stuff.

Mmmmmmmmm. Well I wouldn't say that skiing is going bad, per say, because of that, but, I think skiing is getting worse because people are concentrating more on style, rather than performance.

park and urban are diff, urban is out on sum residential staircase, park is in ski resort, with access by a chairlift, and its not so bad but i wish they wud keep it more well-rounded

seems pretty well rounded to me. the dudes who hit the BC booters can obvioulsy do all of the stuff in the park, but the park is always perfect landings and the same type of jump over and over. backcountry is where jumping is at.

 
why would you say its going for more style than performance? I mean, i wish it was for more style, but it's all about throwing the biggest spins now, in comps, style is wayy better if you ask me, and there is not enough of it

i liek the way that's going, have all urban and bc. for park to be in movies i wanna see sick park, not liek ur average day at whistler/mammoth but after season massive booters and hips and big park jams like freeskier job fest and what not

i understand where he's coming from though, he misses a good park line in flicks this year. and my advice? buy some lesser known movies, they tend to have plenty of park footage.

Its so much sicker to see a skier take a trick to the bc than seeing it done on a perfect park jump. The bc takes so much more skill than just the park. I am not hating on the park, its just much more maintained.

Skiing is going like skateboarding. Pretty soon we're gonna just have park and urban, and they will be two totally different things

Ski. Eat. Sex. Sleep. Ski.

one thing i dont like about BC is the rarity (?) of switch landings.

and i know i am much more eager to throw flips and my more techy tricks and whatnot on a powder hit.

i like to see huge dramatic spins in comps, but in my skiing all i think about is style

i do see what he means, but i def think we are better off than a few years ago, when it was all park. However, what happened to crazy, tow-in urban kinda jumps, there where some sick ones in second generation (L1P) but it seems like those have mostly dissapeared

I like it when the red water comes out.
