Skiing is getting huge

How do you own a pair of 4FRNT skis and not know what NS is? A month ago I moved into a house for second year of univ. with a group of buddies and we got to meet our neighbours who were also students. Note we are from southern ontario, we get about a foot of snow a year (well... seems like it) and the hills are just ice sheets. The scene here is far from live. Anyways, it turns out the one neighbour starts talking about skiing. So i ask him if he is on NS and he gives me a blank face and says no... so then im thinkin this guy is some race case or something... so i ask him what he rides and he says a pair of 4FRNT MSPs... I cant get my head around it. I could understand maybe if it was a pair of you know rossis or salomons... but an independant freeskiing company and not knowing the core existance of the growth of the industry? Boggled.
 
i didn't know about NS until about a year ago, and by then i already had two pairs of twintips and had been watching freeskiing movies since 2003. weird i know.
 
I didnt kno about NS until earlier this year. and i live in Washingtoin which has a pretty good ski scene. I try to tell everyone about NS even if they dont ski......that way they know what the hell skiing is all about now.
 
i have known about NS since i have had twin tips (i love claiming).... and please tell me you got him addicted to NS
 
i knew about brands like 4frnt and armada wayyy before i knew about NS, but a few months after i actually started skiing newschool and bought twins, i found out about NS (I don't remember how). Also 4frnt is also making a non-twintipped ski now which is gonna expose the brand out to gapers/carvers? so it won't be uncommon for people to know about it.
 
i heard about NS from SBC Skier mag like......well must have been 6 years ago. ive been on here for almost 6 years. fuckign crazy.
 
Yeah I knew about 4FRNT Line Armada Tanner Hall blah blah blah before NS. And I knew what NS was probably a year and a half before I joined.
 
i found this site randomly acually and i can't remember how i did it lol

but yea i only searched for it after about a year of freeskiing
 
I learned about ns last year and i had been constantly been watching edits for 2 years and i was riding line invaders
 
there are people who kill it, but do not give a shit about ns, or even the new ski movies comin out or what the pros are doing.

they just ski.
 
i bet he's not the only one who knows about 4frnt and not ns, i knew about ski companies from watching movies and stuff before i knew about ns, i made an old account in 2004 when a friend told me about ns but i forgot all the account info. i decided recently to come back on to buy and sell stuff and i got wrapped back up in the good old ns
 
Its so sad, in NY there is one kid i know who has ns and he snowboards (nothing wrong wit' dat) the ski scene sucks here as one might expect from a state with minimal mountains. but it does make trips out west seem more fun...
 
I discovered 4frnt and Amplid from Jibbingame.com. I'm not entirely sure If I found Jibbingame for the first time on NS. For some reason I don't think I did, but I can't remember how exactly I found it.
