Pretty sure they are own by POWDR sooooo yeah. Thats why woodward left Northstar i think. I am most familiar with woodward at Copper. They have the barn of course and the camp. Free hike park, more parks, and they are also building hella new bike trails next summer. Copper puts on halfpipe and park events as well as dew tour.

any feedback on how eldora’s woodward is?? Location is pretty choice for boulder/denver area. Is the park up to spec?

i frequent breck and theres 2 boxes and 2 tubes. I know they put on Instagram that a full build is coming after the holiday rush but shit its clearly not 2009 no more

Fast forward to 2021… “we charge 200 dollars for the same mountain that used to cost 30 and our parking lots are overrun with 50,000 people every day.”

Often, at least for small hills, a good park goes to shit because a good groomer or park manager left.
 
i got a text tuesday night that NDOT was going to be turning people around because the traffic was at a standstill. if my memory is right, highways 89, 267, 431 and 50 out of south lake were all closed, so everyone was going out 28. i got stuck in it after skiing and it took me 3 hours to go 10 miles. the snow was sick though

Dude I rode tremblant last year expecting it to be the sickest mountain of all time and it was garbage. I did go early szn so that is part of the reason why but the mountain had no natty side hits and there was 2 features in the park

That’s how I felt, it’s good when there’s a lot of fresh but not fun at all when there’s not
 
Nah.

I'm good on anything Vail or Alterra owned for a while though especially in the Northeast. Very happy with my New Hampshire pass now that Cannon is running their tram and I get 2100 ft ride up and ski back down to the same car. I don't have stupid expectations on the east coast for snow frozen water on a steep hill is all I ask for. Gunstock also on my pass is close to home and had a park as good as anything I've seen in New England last decade last winter. Day trips from Boston don't make me want to kill myself. I'm in sales and can work from the lift. Things are great.

My boss called me today at 330 I pulled over to the side of the trail and answered. Superstars play by different rules in everything not just basketball.
 
Eldora Woodward is dope. It’s a bit focused on snowboarding but still really good. Especially considering they have a tiny amount of vert and snow and way more wind than other CO resorts. It’s hard to imagine it being much better than it is. Great vibe for sure as well.
