hes right in a way. look through a park at any given mountain and tell me how many actual good skiers there are. not kids who can 3 tables or do rails, actual good skiers. the number is getting less and less. i started out racing and now i ride the park, but i can ski outside of it, which seems to be becoming more and more rare these days. were left with all these kids who cant put down a carved turn to save their life, and have no desire to, as long as they can do some rail in the park. do yourself and everyone else a favor and learn to ski before you hit up the park.

Last time i snowboarded i was schooling most of my snowboarding buddies on raisl and going just as big as they were on jumps.

Man, skiing isn't pussy, but it is no where near as insane as other sports. i was WAtch Travis Pastranas Nitro Circus and sum of teh crashes those guys take on everything, (bicycles, dirtbikes, quads, lawnmowers, go-carts) are sooo insane. but yeah, skiing is good shit.

Well I think skiing is cool, especially the dudes who throw crazy shit. Granted a lot of kids make it look dumb cause they all look the same (saggy pants, big ass jackets, oakley goggles, visor beanie) but for the most part a good part of skiers can represent. The problem is 360s are so much easier to throw on skis than boards. Go to a park and watch who throws 3's, its always the skiers and if a boarder does there is a good chance they will do it with style just cause it took them longer to master.

pep pretty much summed it up, skiing and snowboarding are both awesome sports

maybe snowboarding is easier for some people and maybe skiing is easier for others, but WHO CARES!? just drop the subject, go to your hill, put on your skis/board/whatever you want, and do whatever the hell you like.
