Skiing Info

Don't be afraid to expand on those posts rather than just rewriting what's already been done and said. Share your point of view, give insight on their products from your perspective and don't forget to spark attention with some color: product imagery or even just the brand logo.

Do you use their products? If so, what product(s) and why? What's their market share in comparison to the competitors? Speak more on what truly sets them apart. Rewrite it a dozen times if you need to. Writing is learning for the author as much as reading is learning for the reader, so don't hesitate to use a pencil over ink.

Keep it coming and people will stay engaged. You have my attention...

If you don't mind me asking, what's the goal of your blog in relation to the business class you're taking? I'm just wanting to understand the task at hand.

I'll pop on over again tomorrow...

I have to get 1500 views to pass the project.

Be sure you're working this from other angles too...Facebook...Twitter. The law of averages will get you more views.

Of course, some ski porn would likely get you all the hits you need within a day. With that in mind, use a subject you think sells and will draw the most eyes.

You may want to consider using a new post with a new subject tomorrow and just be sure you're encouraging people in the forum to talk about your subject--so, the blog subject should be relevant, interesting and invoke conversation. Then just be honest and ask for the click through to your blog along with the reason why. My 2 cents.

First? lol

You can't be discouraged by people like N* Beater. One, his nickname tells you a lot, two people will hate regardless of whether they agree with your posts or regardless as to whether or not they are relevant.

Keep it going...

If you get closer to your deadline and still need x amount of views, down load an auto clicker (google) and have it refresh the page every 5 seconds or so overnight.

Keep up the good work tho

if you need a blog to not be a gaper, then you are one

If you need a blog not to be a gaper, then you're one step ahead and smarter than the average bear.

Don't forget that power is gained by sharing knowledge and taking criticism only makes you stronger.

You will always have critics and most of the time they are worthy of a good laugh.

Matt...

Be careful of your image width. The maximum width for the content area of your blog post is 586 pixels. Be certain you specify at least the width to your image (the height will simply change on its own proportionately) if it is larger than 586 pixels.

In response to your latest Blog Post: "A Lot of Hate in Skiing"

Good post. You're absolutely right that there's a good amount of misguided aggression going on. You can only look past them unless it's constructive, but in many cases it's not. The key is to try to find what is constructive within their badgering posts. Many times there are good things to take away and it's up to you to determine it. Don't just brush them completely off.

I've always felt that many times the obnoxious posts are made with a small amount of relevance (meaning there's something constructive within it), but the person posting just cannot properly speak their thoughts and are left with spewing ridiculous, obnoxious and rude comments in the process.

Regardless, you just keep doing what you're doing. Do you think companies like Red Bull stopped the progression of extreme sports due to the overwhelming criticism they received for endangering lives? Do you think Shane McConkey stopped when he was criticized by peers and media as he spent his life pioneering how to push the limits of skiing? No, and through good and bad they rose to the top. That's a quality in life a select only few can exercise and it's much harder to do than a stupid rant from those hating you.

Keep perpetuating sh*t everyday...
