Skiing in WA (Seattle area)

Hey guys... idk if NS is still used anymore. Anyways I had some questions about skiing around here, I just moved to Seattle from Vancouver.

What I'm looking for

- Skiiing every weekend, buying a season's pass

- Decent skiing

- < 2hr drive... I can do more if necessary. But shorter is ideal.

- Good hostel to stay in on Friday and Saturday nights

- Good bars to hang

- Cost doesn't really matter

As far as a good bar scene and hostel, probably wont be too much of that this season due to the pandemic. I think Snoqualmie/Alpental is a no brainer. They are not (at least at this point) implementing a reservation system, and its the closest drive from Seattle. Great park, night skiing, and Alpental is sick.

Stevens was awesome but not as of lately with the parking fuckery/traffic/vail takeover.

Crystal you can talk to Billy about. Im sure he'll tell you everything you need to know ;]

Baker fucking sucks and is the farthest drive. Dont waste your time there.

Yeah Baker is the worst by far. They make kids cry and then collect the tears for snowmaking since there isn't good cover year round. You want Snoqualmie for sure. Also Stevens suck too.

How packed is alptenal on weekends? the closest to Seattle seems like it would draw big crowds but are crystal/stevens more packed because vail/alterra? Asking because also moving to Seattle this summer.
