Skiing in Utah this week, need some suggestions

Hey guys just wanna say sorry off the bat for this thread, i'm sure you get a lot of people coming to utah on vacation asking the best places to ski and whatnot, but I could really use some suggestions on where you would recommend skiing this week given the warm conditions and lack of snowfall forecasted. I'll be skiing here from wednesday-saturday and planned on hitting up alta, snowbird, powder and a fourth (brighton/ solitude/ PC) but was wondering which mountains would have the best conditions currently/ have the best sidecountry snow so i could get a chance to experience some powder skiing. Any help would be awesome! thanks!

I'll be skiing snowbasin on Thursday if you decide to take that journey. Shall be turnin up with some homies for some great sunny conditions if you end up going there even though it's not on your list. It's a great mountain.

Powder mountain is really flat and lame. I would do pc, brighton, or basin for the 4th day. With the lack of recent snow all the mountains will be about the same.

There's no snow in the forecast but what is on the ground right now is pretty good on the east side of the range. I've been skiing PCMR and Canyons and like Canyons a lot more at the moment, they have more varied terrain and doesn't seem quite as tracked out. There's some slippery spots in PC already. No idea about the parks, if that's what you're looking for.

Hope it was great. Move to Utah yeah world's greatest snow yay utah where you will learn to be pro0000~

This thread may be old but I didn't want to create a new one for a similar reason. I'm heading to Utah and planning on skiing Feb 12-15. Looking for a balance of park and all mountain while I'm there. With some rookies so Snowbird/Alta may be tough. I'm thinking Snowbasin/Canyons? Looking for suggestions. Sorry this is a bit winded.

If you have some newbies with you, I wouldn't recommend Canyons. There are only a couple greens, and beyond that like 90% of the blues are just service roads. If they can ski blacks, there's a lot of really fun terrain (they're pretty generous with what they call a black run too) and really easy tree skiing if they want to try that.

Otherwise for the Park City area, PCMR is really good for learning because of the way it's laid out, if you want to hit a black run or a bowl, there's usually a blue right next to it that goes down to the same lift. Also a lot more intermediate stuff that isn't just a road.

Much appreciated! Any opinion on Snowbasin? I know we're doing that at least one day. I also may take one of them to Snowbird, he's gotta learn sometime, so I hope there's snow.
