Skiing in the rain

Gets me STOKED. All you midwesterners and east coasters will probably be confused as to why I enjoy the rainy days in BC with all the soft snow around and frequent powder.
Basically I'm talking about the spring days with the mist and rain coming down. Where viz kinda sucks and the lips onto rails are melted and the inruns to jumps are too slow. Yup, I love those days. I never realized it until I looked back on all the rainy days I could remember, and I noticed that I always had a damn good time. Basically I'd always be jibbing around with friends doing stupid stuff, skiing that soft slush in the trees and stuff. All the landings no matter how flat are soft. I've never had a bad day skiing in the rain. I don't care how soaked I get, it's just too much fun.
So who else likes to shred when it's raining? Am I just weird?
Just thought I'd put this in a thread because even after a nice day at Whistler I felt like going shredding in the rain right away. I was STOKED.

rain is a great time i always have so much more ufn in shitty weather my best day this year was with 60 mph winds ripping and it hurt ur face so much and the trees were filled with like 4 ft of untouched pwo cause no one was out there that day.

I don't love skiing in straight up rain, but i love when it is raining at the bottom and dumping snow at the top of the lift and it changes halfway down the run.

Every time I go to Blue Mountain, PA it rains, not just rains, but pours buckets. It's probably the most fun days I have. We wrap ourselves in trashbags and still get soaked to the bone. We were in the lodge after one time and my friend took off his shirts and hoodie, threw them at me, and the weight of them from being so soaked knocked me to the ground. It was insane. Skiing in the rain is the best.

skiing in the rain is still better than no skiing.....

one day we had a hail storm, lightning, the whole deal.. they shut the lifts down for about 45min, when they opened them up there was hail pow! (seriously, it had accumulated)

sessioning in the pooring rain is nice when the rain comes through your vents in yuor helmet and cools you off.....gotta love the rain even on the east coast

I just realized that but yeah i always have a great time in the rain skiing with friends jibbin doing stupid shit i like how theres always less people and you kinda feel you have the mountain to yourself

haha ya man same thing happened to me, weirrrrdd stuff. see lighting and thunder when its snowing is just so strange, it does accumulate pretty quick though since the hail balls are so big.
