Skiing in texas????

I HATE Texas.

thaz insane! and very cool... theyre tryin to do sumthin like that on long island (except it'll be an indoor one wit manmade snow)

wow thats stupid they should not waste ther money on that and leave skiing i the real mountians.

I've seen where they are going to build it. It's pretty big, but nowhere near mountain size. They are trying to market it as a "destination resort", which means they think people out-of-state will actually book ski vacations to Texas instead of Utah, Colorado, California, fuck, ANYWHERE else. Pretty funny.

so what if there stoked that doesnt make it possible. this will never work. and if it does it will def run out of business for being so shitty bc there def not gonna make it look like that pic.

The reason many ski resorts survive is because there are a constant stream of people skiing every day of the week during the winter. Now, place a fake resort in 100 degree weather and see what happens. People will have fun once and never go back, its just not the same. They may be stoked about this place, but hype isnt everything.

they have a lot of shit to offer people may only go once and never wanna go back but they may like it you never know because im sure that people in texas have never had a chance to ski so they will have there locasl like every ski resort does. but who really knows i just dont know why they would dump so much money into something like this just for it to fail

i'm from dallas, but taos is only an 11 hour drive away. fuck indoor skiing.

though i'll probably try this place out if it's cheap enough.

"only steers and queer come from texas and you dont look like much of a steer" (full meatal Jacket)hahahha the best movie ever but anyway, that looks like a stupid idea

Wow, this could actually happen! Six Flags, Schlitterbahn, Sea World, South Padre Island and skiing too! They never have to leave their state!

That and I will most likely be going to pilot training there for a year so I need something to use...
