Skiing in November

Hey ns. My family is getting an exchange student for the first half of this school year. Since she is from Switzerland we want to show her what skiing in America is like. It looks like the only time we have a big enough break to go skiing while she is here is in late November. We live in pa so we wont be taking her skiing here in November. So i have two questions... 1. What is the best place to ski on the east coast in late November? 2. What is the best place in the U.S. to ski in late Novemeber? thanks and +k for help

just wait it out and check the forecast and jet to the place with snow - Killington, Mt Snow, Stowe are usually safe bets for early season man-made.

ummm sunday river is usually a good bet they have some decent stuff open but that might be a little far
also for the us i might so almost anywhere out west haha

best in the country is probably wolf creek. ive had some great pow days in November there.

sugarloaf usually opens around thanksgiving, but its usually a single trail of man made stuff. You'd be better off just taking her out west, it would be an insult to show her man made stuff imo

You are going to ruin North American skiing for her taking her somewhere on the east coast in November. You want a hot swedish girl to think of scraping down ice as skiing in NA?

i feel you but there is a big difference between driving a few hours north and booking a flight across the u.s. im really just looking for ideas right now... to everyone else thanks for the quick responses. keep them coming!

I hiked jay for some turns in a foot of pow on november 1st this past season. Anything is possible, and if you really want to impress her do something like this.
