Skiing in France this Summer

Does anyone know what the skiing is like in les2Alpes or Tignes in summer? Thinking about going over for a week or two but not to sure which one to go for.

Any feedback would be helpful

THe glacier over in val d'isere are shit about 5 weeks ago and doubt it will get any better

your best bet for late season this year was easter-found some sweet off piste down to bonneval and just of the back of the glacier down to the col d'iseran road

I know a guy who was in Les Deux Alpes for a month last year - he said it was awesome. Best summer park in France definately. Tignes is pretty good too, and Les Diablerets in Switzerland.

 
Tignes is nice in the summer. Lots of skiers, a very cool park and hopefully a clear blue sky!

after watching the vids on this site of the newschoolers in france i would kill to ski there... not only there bc runs but there parks look AMAZING and it looks like no one skis them besides a few skiers that tottally rip. it seriously looks amazing thier parks look flawless and i drrooool everytime i see pics or vids or anything.

i was there in the fall it was dope, candide was there rippin it up and the jumps were huge, and when i was there i heard there was sick summer skiing.

I'm going with Gene on this one. The French are quite the pussies. Who saved the French's ass in WWI? America. Who let the Nazi's take over Europe? The French. I have to say I agree a bit with mogulbarron..

But back to skiing: I have been in France and america and in my opinion the skiing is better in France. The resorts are over 10 times bigger. But they dont have as good parks.

i've skiied les 2 alps before, but just the glacier. when i used to race, i went to a race camp for 2 weeks there. the glacier was really big, a lot of terrain for the middle of the summer, i didn't see any parks there, just lanes for racing. i bet that resort when it's all open would be pretty sweet to ski. yah. the glacier's pretty big.
