Just wondering was the beef is on skiing in Argentina and Chile over the next few months. Which resort? Good off piste? Park action?

I would think that right now it would be better to ski in Chile, not Argentina, for a couple of reasons:

1. Chileans don't have such a good economy, so your $$ will go far there.

2. Argentina has no real love for americans, so if you go there expect to see it.

If it was me I would go to Argentina, still, b/c it is a much prettier country, and a lot more culture, but that's just me.

Chile is sick

scariest country ive ever been to though...

Yea, I said it

I lived in Argentina for two years... I got back in November of 2003 what do you know about the place, Fondle?

For skiing in Argentina, check out Las Lenas, which is the most obvious. There are some SICK resorts down south too. Check out Chapelco and Bariloche.

PM me if you have any questions about it.

We gonna whack it til the wheels fall off.

im goin travelling in Argentina with my dad in august but he's not a skier, so I'll only ski a little bit there, im so happy to meet winter again when its gonna be bitchin hot here!

Gravity sucks

I just read reviews about Las Lenas, and the mountain is suppose to be huge, and the terrain easily comparable or better than Utah, Whistler, or J-Hole, and theres really easily accesible backcountry for 7 bucks a cat ride. Man I hope I get to ski there more than a day!
