Skiing in AFRICA!?

they also got skiing in morocco in our winter. Im pretty sure africa is the only continent to have ski resorts operating on both winters.

"The main slope

is about 1Km long. At times only parts of this are usable, depending on

the snowmaking weather and natural snowfalls. It is ideal for practising

and improving your abilities in jumping, slalom and quick turns. The slopes

cater for about 300 skiers per day and after good snowfalls, guests can

also ski off-piste for up to 1.5Km."

Nope, pretty sure I don't want to.

Was planning a ski trip while in south africa last summer, skipped it after googling around for a bit ^^

well obvs you don't go there because the skiing is good, you go there cuz it is such an odditty. I mean you could be fighting lions one moment and then busting some moves off thier wicked sick jumps the next.

I'm happy with my mountain. 15 minutes away, 4'100 feet (I live like 5m above sea level)... 26 runs, 3 terrain parks. 2 high speed quad chairs, 2 rope tows and a magic carpet.. 13 runs open for night skiing.... i'm more than satisfied. plus, two more mountains, both less than 45 mins awayy. and then... whistler which is 2 hours.

Your very fortunate.

My hill is 6 minutes away, 300 feet, 4 runs, 1 park, all runs open at night. double chair, magic carpet.

you might ski with some of these guys

Can you guys not tell that I am being sarcastic about how awesome this mountain is? Why are you compairing it to your own? Obviously yours is better, this is in fucking africa.....that is what is amazing about it to though. It obviously doesn't compare to much we are use to.       This is in africa, you could go skiing with gorillas and zebras and stuff, not that they like the cold, but thats why this is sick.  If i ever go down there I am making a point of skiing there just so that I can say I have.     Maybe its not that amazing, but I never associated africa with skiiing.
