Skiing history

Ok i have to do a english speech and i choose skiing. i was just wondering where i could find good history about skiing any ideas would help a lot. Thanks

Anyway, theres tons of books on the history and all of it, just check your library. That will probibly be your best source but what do you want info on? The equipment, form, or what?

Im pretty sure they developed 'skis' a long time ago in like Norway, Sweden, or Finland. In those countries up in northern Europe is where skis originted from. And there was an article in skiing from like 2 yrs ago that explained where the word 'ski' came from

do it on if snowboarders should be allowed at all mountains. go to www.freethesnow.com and there is your report for you, as long as you think they should be allowed to ride anywhere. its perfect!

you should check out about vikings. They lived in norway for a long time ago and they used skis
