Skiing high?

It's been around for a longgggg time. Also generally refers to being high from cocaine. I guess until all these pussy/shitty rappers started using it to be like "I smoked a bowl, im so zooted broooo"

Same with faded. Generally refers to opiates or similar like benzos etc. But "omG omG liek we smoked a bowl and are getting hella faded! The trees are talking to me and I see leprechauns dancing,"

I mean you can say what ever you want but it doesn't make it anymore cool or underground, and all these bitch ass "rappers" are bitch ass "rappers".

Lol I searched it and realized its common, my friend and I were stoned once and he said he was fuckin zooted and since then thats a term we used.

most of the time i just end up sitting on the deck in the park. or if i do actually end up skiing, i won't try anything technical. just mach 5 into rails and shitty presses.

Shut up you don't know what marijuanas are Liley Rewis

does anyone else shoot up before they ski? really helps numb the falls

but actually i feel like skiing high is pretty much the same, but everything is amplified and more pleasant.

There is a period of muscle protein synthesis, the process via which muscle cells generate new proteins, which is necessary for the skeletal muscles to benefit from training by recovering, growing and adapting. Without this, you would never improve and you would be constantly injury-prone. Alcohol has an enormous impact on muscle protein synthesis, reducing it by up to a third.

knowledge is power.

Obviously alcohol has negative impacts on training, but saying "alcohol dries up your ligaments" just sounds dumb. Skiing drunk doesn't make you any more injury prone, just more clumsy and more likely to crash.

sadly i agree... most drunk drivers dont die because the body is super limber from intoxication at the time of their crash... your muscles/ligaments are filled with h20 and other liquids that help them stretch, the days after drinking, the muscles have less fluid (drier) i hope the dumbed down version was more to your liking.

I don't partake in marijuana for a few (health related) reasons, but I've always been curious: what's it like to ski high? I get different opinions from different people usually, so post your "skiing high" stories ns!!

what health related reasons?

You should partake. Life is more fun that way

^^^and yea for which health related reasons...?

I like a few puffs, but if I smoke too much I ski about as fast as paint drying. I think I'm going mach banana, but when I get to the bottom of the lift my friends claim they've been waiting for me for 10 minutes. I'm always surprised.

I've only done it a few times. Pretty much a no go in the park for me. Groomers and trees are fun though. I'd honestly rather have a few beers than a few puffs

Its a good time. I only started smoking this summer so i never skiied high before until my first day of the season yesterday at okemo, and i was stoned i smoked two blunts on the lift and it was funnn. Id just be skiing down and look at my buddies and they were bombing the groomers and every little mistake they made skiing i would laugh at so much that it almost made me lose control skiing and I was just less scared to try shit. Going fast as fuck when our high skiing can be a little scary though especially when there are 500 people on one run.

My first time smoking pot was while skiing, and it was late last winter. I don't smoke often, but I've learned that I become very introverted when I do smoke according to my friends.

I mean, unless you're in the i remember my first bowl territory it's pretty normal.

You just get in the zone and cruise.

Yup. I get plenty of crap highs from big bong hits at home or friends houses or too big a dab or whatnot but with skiing the weed goes down so well there are no side effects. And I don't like to specifically blaze before exercise I wouldn't smoke and hike. It's sort of like smoking weed when you are haulucinating the benefits are positive and no downsides. But then again u can't really take a monster that knocks ya on the slopes.

well the simple fact is that its amazing but its not for everyone. if you dont partake on the regular you might not enjoy it as much because you would rather sit and listen to music and close your eyes instead of race down a mountain at full speed, however if you use it wisely it can enhance anything especially skiing.
