Skiing Haters?

Do you think the hate from snowboarders has increased, stayed the same, or decreased over the last couple of years or so? Just wondering what everybody's opinions are on snowboarders.
 
id say decreased, i even saw some snowboarders at my hill, who were trying skiin one day last season
 
i'd say its definately decreasing. it kind of seems like both disciplines are equally rep'd when your at the top of the park, and theres always both skiers and snowboarders throwing down so yeah...
 
Ya its decreasing for sure..Some boarders came up to me in the season and were asking what skiing was like and how it looked pretty good..I was pretty happy.
 
Word, a lot of the hating has died down. I think that dual ski/snowboard movies are the next big thing.
 
i ski southern pa and i barely ever see skiiers who can REALLY throw down...

then again not many snowboarders can either..

the washington dc area is such a gaperfest!!!
 
defenetly decreased

two years ago my first year i used to catch hate all the time

but this past season all i rode with were singlebladers

it was fun, we kinda just fed off of each others ideas/grabs/grinds

 
Honestly, I've never had any hate on the hill from anyone, save a few patrollers who dont like people skiing backwards.
 
people at my mountain are all chill with eachother.

There are douches at my school who go 4 times a season that say that skiing is gay. one of my friends used to say that I should snowboard but then me and my friend owned his ass on the mountain and now he thinks skiing is awesome.

people at my school say its dumb because they think we are just weekend warrior saloman carver gapers, but then I show them vids and they think its cool.

I think Im going to apply for that job and just run around yelling at people sitting in the middle of the hill~
 
patrollers at crystal were giving me props and tips on my switch skiing and then one of them gave my buddy pat props on a misty 5 off a booter...

then again, most of them are jerks also.
 
Nz is like 10 years behind.

Apparently there's these 'gay skiiers that try to be snowboarders' these days.

To be honest, I love it.

They're so clueless, when you ski past them switch, just being cruisy, you really feel like you're giving everybody an orgasm.
