Hey guys. I saw the petition to EA Games for a new skiing game. And from my point of view it could be quite a lot to ask from them. The numbers are not on our side. If you look at snowboarding.com they got like 5000 members online anytime you go there. So my suggestion is: try to push for Amped 3 but with a choice of picking a skier instead of a snowboarder. It's much esier for EA games to do something like that than produce a whole new game. What do you guys think?

 
dont push just one company for a game. also ask the guys who made the tonay hawk games and any other companies that might want to make one, it would give us a better chance to convince at least someone and get them to say yes.

yes, they do, but you have to admit, a skier in amped would be sick

remember how much the jonny mosely mad trix game sucked. u gotta admit that companies arent gonna be to excited about producing another game like that.

 
If they put as much effort into a skiing game as they do into snowboarding games and tony hawk games, they could make a GOOD game, that I definately would buy. But skier specific would be best, because they likely wouldn't program all the different tricks and stuff for the skier if it was a snowboard based game. They could incorporate different tricks for different skiers. It would be quite simple actually (I couldn't do it, but they could), the format for the game is already developed.

 
if skiing keeps progressing like it is, we will get a video game sooner or later. if they made one for fruitbooting and deerhunting they can make a sick game for skiiers

actually i like this idea... amped 3 with a choice of a skiier or snowboarder.. u could be best of two worlds... and for mutltiplayer if can be a skiier vs. a snowboarder.. ehh good idea good idea

the reality is for average non skiing kid, if they looked on the shelf and saw a skiing game, and amped 2 snowboarding or something, they would go with amped all because of FUKIN JOHHNY TSUNAMI.

 
The Style of play in amped is awesome, if you could choose a skier, that would be absolutley sick

ya the amped 3 thing would be sick. epsecially cuz amped is allready awesome. we shud also ask activision 02 to make a sking game kzu they amke good games to. like tonoy hawk and shawn paulmer snowboard

I think It would suck. They would not have ski tricks there would be like a hand full of tricks that could be done. People would play the game with the skier and be this isnt fun he cant do any tricks. No we need a ski game. Think about all the bad games out there someone will make a ski game sooner or later.

 
EA should make amped 3 with a skier option and see if it sells but if the tricks are like mosely's mad trix game it will suck ass

 
if they were to make amped 3 with the choice of being a skiier, they would have to totally redo the physics engine of the game. you have different balance points when on a snowboard, we spin differently, slide rails differently, and last time i checked, snowboarders stand sideways when they ride down the mountain, i dunno about you, but i dont stand sideways when i ski unless i am sliding a rail.
