ok, who ever says kayaking is easy, stop speaking... kayaking requires so much skill, just to stay alive, let alone be good. the act of rolling an upside down kayak to an upright position is one of the most complicated and counter-intuitive physical manuevers of any sport, and you have to be able do it without even thinking before you can even consider tackling a difficult run. cause you don't have time to think while your being thrown around like you're in a washing machine, and you're head is bashing rocks. there are skiers who tackle runs that require must make moves, but thats not most of us... most paddlers i know including my self face 'you fuck up, you die' situations almost all the time. there aren't posers in kayaking. posers drown.
