Skiing earbuds/headphones

greeting evb, through this season my ear buds have been falling out a ton, and since i dont have a helmet liner I cant use helmet audio, so I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for earbuds or headphones that might work?

Thanks

Good old apple earbuds are pretty damn good for skiing. Enough volume but still not blocking outside sounds so you can talk to people. Big minus for the cord but it is what it is

Awesome thx ? Will give them a try

Knock on wood I’ve never lost my AirPod pros, but really any wired headphone that doesn’t sound like crap and can be replaced for cheap is good enough for me

i have pretty expensive earphones but still use apple wired ones because theyre low profile so they dont get in the way and they dont have noise cancelling so i can hear whats going on

Thx for the advice, much appreciated ?

Shockz have been crushing it for me this season. The out of ear/bone conduction setup is great for hearing outside noise and conversation.

A couple years ago a kid lost his airpod in the landing of our xl and tried to shut the jump down while they searched for a white needle in a white haystack. I had to hike up to them and tell them to call it quits.

Airpods would be really nice under the buff and no cord is a huge bonus. Maybe spray paint em black

Ive been using gen 1 airpods for the past 4-5 seasons and have never had them fallen out. I think its cause im usually wearing a hood/balaclava but I love them for skiing. Mostly cause u can bonk the side of your head to switch songs

I got some free airpods through my college so I paid for these like wired connector things made of silicon that slip around and they keep them from getting lost in the snow. They are really easy to change song and pause/play which is really nice. I probably woundnt jump the gun on them as the sound quality is eh but if you have some or got money to blow, go for it.

I dont think this is the exact one but it was something similar to this

After dealing with the garbage that was the wired Apple earbuds, switched to my AirPod pros since I’m always wearing stuff on my face. The beck gator helps to keep ‘em in pre good. The old corded ones kept getting tugged on when skiing so I’d be half way through a run in a straight vibe and he song would just stop and the audio would cut out or I’d get this horrendous ringing from the cord. Maybe I was just skiing too hard, but they pre much sucked. Now my music doesn’t go out at all and I can just keep riding.

Omg rly??

I like the wired apple earbuds because if my music stops I’ll know that my phone just fell out of my pocket.

This happened to me with my airpod pros but the whole case with the left fell out of my pocket, so in my case it would have been better to have both in ear and left the case in the car. It was a slushy day and i never found them

I might be getting normal airpods since they are cheaper to replace and I like being able to hear other things

My wired apple earbuds turns off the music every time I land something. anyone know why?

Its like 50/50 if I can press play from the controller or if I have to pull out my phone and press play on spotify.

Yeah normal airpods are the move. Much cheaper like you said, and I always do just one in my ear so I can hear everyone around me and still bump

I use kbears coz they're cheap (like 28 bucks) IEM's that go around your ears so they dont really fall out and they sound really good.

I got Jabra elite 7 sport and I love the fit and the controls on the earbuds are wild. I call them Jabretta’s because my name is Brett which makes them 100x cooler if ur me

I lost an AirPod on a crash so stopped that,

and Apple ones work but break so damn easily, and kinda pricy at 20 bucks, get these and a dongle you’ll be set

I got Skullcandy jibs from walmart and they were crackly out of the box so i got the walmart brand onn instead and was fuckin hyped on it. Sounded great, battery lasted and was cheap. Then i fucked em up by running them through the wash so naturally I went to walmart, bough the exact same pair, waited for a shift change and returned the pair that went through the washer saying they were defective.
