Skiing Dreams

does anyone else get those super realistic dreams about skiing during the off season? like those ones where you are just having the time of your life, jibbing like t-wall, flyin like jon olsson, and dropping cliffs like seth? they just make me want to ski sooo bad.
 
i had powder day dream this morning and we just finished and were going into the chalet to get some food and i slipped and fell... and jolted and then i woke up

 
I hate them. I'll have a dream where I'm skiing waist deep pillows or something, and then you wake up and look out the window and the mountains are barren. It's torture.
 
I had a dream last night that i was doing these huge nose/ tail press spin combos in huge pillow lines
 
haha yeah I had several while I was injured only after the dream I'd look out the window and see tons of snow but looked at my knee and was 10X bigger from its normal size

one was that i was hitting this huuge kicker and knew I was injured but stomped it with a 5 lol other one was that I was skiing pow with a bunch of my friends. the last one I had was that I was at the bottom of the mtn and was standing on the road trying to get a ride up haha.
 
I sometimes ride in slowmo, but I can think regular speed. It's crazy, I stay in the air for way too long and spin huge.
Other times I'm just cruisin down a mellow park run or sides of groomers and having so much fun doing tricks that I can't do in real life. Waking up sucks because I realize I suck and didn't actually learn anything...
 
i had one last night that is started snowing and i wanted to get on ns and tell everyone how it was snowing while it was still summer and then i wanted to go put on my boots and go skiing but i had broken one of my ankles? it was deff not one of the best ski dreams ive had id call it more of a nightmare
 
it was really weird when i was a snowboarder i had ski dreams all the time, and my dreams are always really crazy and realistic.. so i switched and it's the best choice i ever made.. haha
 
I have a ski dream at least 3 times a week, and I'm always at the same mountain. Weird thing is is that I've never been to this mountain before in my life consciously. Maybe it's a past life type thing, LOL.
 
two nights ago i dreamt i was riding my new moments at squaw and pulling super steezy 3's off cliffs and landing in bottomless powder and then i decided to jump adrenaline rock and i launched and looked down and saw a bunch of rocks on the landing and right before i hit i woke up and like jumped in bed, i think my whole body was in the air for a second
 
these dreams are the worst once they are over. i always dream that im just ripping it up, like super freakin good, and usually with nicer skis and stuff too. then i wake up, and realize i didnt get new skis, and cant do anything cool, and its summer. its like showing a kid a movie of what they are getting for christmas, then breakin the news they are some poor mongolian nomad and they dont even have christmas, or dvd player to watch the movie on in the first place. its tragic
 
All of my dreams are so fucking weird and abstract, ski dreams are no exception~

Seriously think of the most random shit ever and put it on a ski hill, theres my ski dreams~
 
i had a dream once that glen plake was teaching me how to tele on super old school wooden skis with leather strap bindings.

another time, i dreamed that big sky was in fact in northern illinois.

come middle of summer, i always dream that i wake up in the morning to find all the local peaks covered in a fresh blanket. and then i actually wake up and its 80 degrees and all the mountains are bare (not yet, but by august they probably will be)
 
I ended three out of the last four seasons with broken bones and surgery... for awhile after that I kept having reoccuring falling dreams that involved skiing. It SUCKED! I would be ripping down some awesome shit, and all the sudden I would lose it and start falling in slow motion and the instant before I was like "Oh shit, this is going to hurt again!" I would get jolted awake.

It was kind of a mind fuck, but once I got back to real life skiing world the dreams went away :)
 
I don't get them often but when I do have a skiing dream it is usually epic. Just hitting ridiculous looking rails and not even trying and greasing everything.
 
mine im usually the only one on the mountain hittin an endless jump line throwin down like you only see in the movies. then i wake up and realize i had a wet dream.
 
god all the time!! and they're wicked sweet, till you wake up in the massachusetts suburbs and its 80 degrees and snowless :P
 
in my ski dreams i land my sick steezy tricks like rodeos and flats but everything happens in slo mo so it feels like i hold my grab forever :) then i wake up and im like damn i cant do that ... DAMN ITS SUMMER :@
 
i have dreams where i ski off a huge cliff then jerk awake///kinda sketchy...or like when im just going to sleep ill be hitting jumps and stuff and i doa spin and jerk that way...
 
i had my first skiing dream last night i was so proud of myself. it was like being laid for the first time.

it was opening day at some mountain (it was like a conglomeration of the best parts of every mountain i've ever been to). there was nice pow, the park didnt suck anymore, and i was doing 360 octograbs off little bumps on the side of the trail. it was so nice. then I did a floaty 5 off of one. it was so sweet and kinda lucid.

i want some moooreee
