Share your skiing-related dreams. Last night I dreamed that somebody stole my pivots off my skis while I was inside getting food.
 
Had a lucid dream where I had full control of my skiing but I somehow had gotten my eyelids stuck shut as I was headed towards a big powder jump. I remember a really weird feeling of vertigo as it felt like I was falling for a solid minute just freaking out because I was essentially blind, and woke up right on impact. Really cool to have control in a dream, but I don't really think I want that to happen again.
 
I have a recurring nightmare where I go to the mountain and realize I forgot something, then go home to get it and go back to the mountain and realize I forgot something else, and this cycles until the mountain closes.
 
not quite a dream but i was sleepwalked to my room and asked my parents about something skiing related (niether of us could remember). the weird part was when my mom asked me about it the next morning and i knew exactly what she was talking about. it was like i was lucid sleepwalking.
 
I had this dream I was skiing with one ski on my right foot for some reason but I was still ripping. And the run I was doing was on repeat. Pretty fucking wonky
 
I probably haven’t put skis on in three years, but a couple times a week I have dreams where I go to the mountain, forget my skis, and just rip in my boots sled dog style

I also occasionally have recurring nightmares about getting my face put back together after my ski accident but it being so much worse than it was. I jiggle my face and it feels like bouncing jello on a plate and my mom keeps telling me “it doesn’t look that bad”

DUDE you live in Tahoe what the fuck not skiing I'll hook up one of my Vail employee freebees its still Christmas. Don't sleep though my Epic employee could get pulled any day. I saw some Jerrys riding those 90s era ski boots with ski bases (not snowblades just boots with bottoms) at Heavenly a couple weeks ago actually.

Lots of places banned them because they are so dangerous. I remember demo-ing them at Gunstock as a little kid and they were rad but you needed poles due to having no ski under you. They looked cool with no poles.

I have a recurring one where I lose my teeth feels way too real.
 
I dream that I’m skiing fast and then I double eject and face plant. It happened in real life and I think it’s PTSD

You are on a modern alpine binding that WILL eject if you seriously fuck up. No reason to be a pussy with a low din.

My buddy broke a couple bones skiing on 8 dins last week.

I have to buy new bindings cause attack 13s aren’t enough. If I’m charging I’m on that 12din.

Haha it was a year or two ago on a new set up.. They are set good now
 
I keep having this recurring dream where I spend all day teaching a girl how to ski and then when I ask them out to a second date they either say "I have a boyfriend" or thats cute.

...oh wait...

That’s a good binder I got it on my skinny east coast skis cranked to 12.
 
Last night I dreamt that I found massive core shots on my bases . like several huge golf ball sized ones. When I woke up I had to physically check my skis to reassure myself it was just a dream.
 
Last night I dreamt I met Ahall and then proceeded to lace a switch layout backflip. Then I aired off of a mogul so high I nose pressed the chairlift wire.
 
I had kinda more like, a nightmare. I skied down the wrong side of the mtn and got real bad darea and there were lizards everywhere.
 
Getting way too much air with a familiar speed check on a familiar straight air.

I always have this dream where im fucking stoked on the way to the mountain (I live 4 hours away) and I forget my skis and debate if its worth it to demo or drive back home and hit way worse traffic in sacramento. Then it transitions to vivid sex dreams and I wake up hard and angry.
 
I have the wonderful recurring dream. It’s the only skiing related dream I ever get. I’m at some nondescript mountain. The conditions are perfect and I have this odd complete control of my body and airtime. I can literally land anything I want. I can jump off anything and it’s almost as if I can slow time to pull off any spin/trick I want.

it’s an amazing dream and always makes me happy when I wake up.
 
Last week I had a dream that I travelled to Banff, went skiing in the backcountry and died in an avalanche. I'm going to Banff next month... should I be shook or not?
 
I have a reoccurring dream that when I get on the chair it’s like pitched forward and so hard to stay on that I am like death gripping to stay on, and about halfway up I realize I am too tired to make it, and my best shot is to hang by my hands from the chair until I either make it to the fall net at the top, or I can spot a lower spot to let go and fall.

Its either that dream or one where I hit a jump and get 9000 feet of air and just do flips and spins at will and can fly to where I need to land and can get unlimited air off anything
 
I dreamed one of those days, but I was actually the skier, not Candide. I woke up and was very disappointed to realize I am not in fact Candide.
