Skiing down stairs, not a good idea

Well im so 'snow-sick' that i had to put my skis on and ski them. Well i thought that the carpeted stairs would work well. It turns out, that it works very well, but you cant stop,or turn. So i went down, tried to stop at the bottom, and i scratched the wooden door at the bottom of the stairs.

Anyone know how to get a 1cm deep scratch out of a door?

We rethought everything, and came up with a solution. 1st we remade a rail that was previously constructed, so that we could put it on some stairs. Second, we put some cheap carpet that we stole, out side on the brick stairs. Third we opened the door and setup the rail on the carpet. Now all we need is a trial run through...

just go get some ice rink snow, that's a little safer than carpeted brick

my friend found some old skis at a garage sale once. he clicked his shoe into the bindings are rode down the stairs at school. the next thing he remembers was being in a hospital room with his leg taped up and shit. it was funny

Skiiers have no life... we ski down stares evan when nothing else... its middle of summer and we dressed up in ski stuff at arena makeing a rail session... fuck it iv evan made the grass realy muddy on a steep hill by my house from rain and skied down it... skiing rocks

 
what ever it takes, skiing must be had, good to see that you guys will go to any length but make sure that you capture it on film so nwe can share the laughs and pain.

 
doesn't rail sliding in whistler kinda suck though, cause all teh rails are like no longer than 6 ft, everything is seperated so there isn't much grinding
